In education, the Four C’s are often described as “21st Century Skills”. These include the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and think critically and creatively.
At The Kineo School, the Four C’s guide our daily instruction. Our goal is to teach students how to learn. We teach students how to wonder, how to be curious, and how to ask questions. As a group of educators, we know that the problem solvers of tomorrow will be the curious students of today.
Students found a nest in the forest and began asking questions. What is it? Is there anything inside? What lived in here? They carefully examined the nest and began to draw conclusions. Teachers brought a small part of the nest into the classroom and students spent time writing down their questions and illustrating their observations.
