Collaboration

In education, the Four C’s are often described as “21st Century Skills”.  These include the ability to communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and think critically and creatively.

Our fluid classroom environment not only encourages student autonomy and choice, but also welcomes collaboration.  Groups form to solve problems, play with blocks, and buddy read.

Throughout the day, students are strategically placed into group settings that capitalize on their strengths and help them increase their collaborative skills.  In addition to varied teacher selected groups, students also learn how to self select which activities and groups they join throughout the day.
